A big thanks to Lukas for heading out last evening to clean up the trails after a super busy weekend with lots of traffic, and also the big freeze-thaw cycles we’re currently experiencing. He reports that trails were freshened up for both skate and classic. Be aware that until we see temps go back down, we’ll have freeze/thaw conditions…

Classic Track: Yes
It was a good week for the trails. Pajarito reported 7” of new snow over the past 7 days with 4” last night. We groomed Tuesday night and Friday night.
There’s fresh corduroy and classic track throughout. Should be fantastic skiing this weekend!

Conditions/Grooming Report 1/17/2024
Lots of new snow, but also lots of wind. Battling the drifts has taken up most of the grooming effort, but things are now pretty well set for classic skiing, with a new track set throughout. The upper/outer meadow loop has been re-established with a fresh track as well. Lots of drifts still exist on the inner meadow trail from Point-M, down to Point-O (the lower road trail). Classic will be the best bet until the weekend. We do hope to have more grooming/smoothing passes done by then to even things out and make it firm and smooth. It just takes a lot of grooming work to get that done. The snow depth is very good now, though, so we’re very happy about that!!! Go ski classic! It will be good with skin skis in the middle part of the day, and kick wax in the morning and evening.
Grooming Report for 2024/01/14
Classic Track: partially
I completed two laps and set classic track on the lower and some sections in the woods. I didn’t set track past point L as the wind was blowing hard and anything I set would have blown out in 10 min. I also set classic track on Camp May road, both sides.
It should set up nicely tonight and be decent for skiing tomorrow if the wind calms down.

Classic Track: Yes
We received close to 1 ft of new snow Thursday. Two groomers packed down the trails Thursday night. Friday two more groomers set corduroy and classic tracks. Should be a fantastic day on the trails tomorrow.

Grooming Report for 2024/01/11
Classic Track: No
Lukas and I groomed tonight. There was 8-12 inches throughout the trails and much more out in the meadow.
It was very hard to find the trail out in the meadow, but we did our best. We did two laps each in the meadow loop and one lap each of the rest of the trails. No classic track, just rough packing.

Classic Track: Yes
Sunday night we got about 4-6” of new snow and it’s been really cold up on the mountain. Conditions are great for skiing. We groomed Monday night and Tuesday night. Trails are in fantastic shape. Both skate and classic are fully groomed. We just set a new classic track this evening.
