They do NOT rent XC gear online, they ask that to rent XC skis you go into their shop and since they charge by the day ($29.95) they recommend coming in Friday after 3 pm to get your gear for Sat morning clinic and then bringing it back Sat afternoon after your clinic/skiing if you only plan to rent for 1 day. Their direct number is 505-982-0495. They only rent CLASSIC gear (no skate).

Grooming Report for 2023/12/13

Classic Track: Yes

This past storm is just what we needed for the ski trails. Pajarito reported 15″ and this evening we groomed in close to 1 ft of new snow. The snow was very wet and all of the trees are covered. It’s a winter wonderland up there! Here are conditions before we groomed this evening

We have full coverage and the trails are groomed for both skate and classic. Should be a superb weekend for skiing!!

Grooming Report for 2023/12/05

Classic Track: Yes

Good evening everyone. Trails were regroomed last evening (Monday), with both skate and classic track groomed in. Keep in mind that it’s very much early season conditions with a LOT of little obstacles and rocks poking through. The classic track is hit and miss because it’s thin. Be super careful!!!

The upper trails were groomed completely, with track, but the lower road is still needing a bit of work, but is still not bad out to Point-O. We’ll probably keep it groomed to that point until we get more snow.

Just be careful with the early season conditions. There are a lot of hidden obstacles under the thin snow, so keep your eyes open for them.

Warm days mean freeze-thaw conditions. Icy in the morning and evening, then soft and slow during midday.
